Day 11 was part 2 of Christmas cards prep but since we got home late and didn't have much time, Dada and Mama finished stamping and sealing the envelopes and Henry got some extra time to read through his library of Christmas books. He did help put some return labels on a few envelopes and commented on the winter themed stamps by saying "I really liked the pictures on the stamps."
Henry's reflection on the advent message (Romans 1:1-7) was that "God will give grace and have peace with us."
Day 12 was a huge day for Henry, something he's been practicing for and anticipating for a long time ... the Christmas musical! Henry was asked on Wednesday by Mrs. Svozil (just 2 days before the performance) to come up with a intro message. He scripted it with Mama's help and practiced it several times in the next day and a half. On performance night, he delivered it loud and clear! We couldn't be more proud. Many people came to see Henry's performance including Uncle Robert, Auntie Xiao and Jensen, Auntie Marilyn, Uncle Andrew and Evan, Auntie Shantel, Auntie Gayle and Jeremiah, Aunti Ai-fen and both sets of grandparents. We lined up early to get good seats and were so proud of our little songbird. Afterwards, we stayed to see Aidan's show too and went to get some McD ice cream after the show to celebrate!
1641- Jungle Bells- with a technical difficulty :)
1642-Super Duper Christmas
1659-Henry's Introduction
1670-A Tale of Christmas Eve- The first song of the play: Kinder's song with the rest of the group
1672-Happy birthday Jesus! Last song of the show!
The set of the show was amazing! Afterward, Henry and Aidan decided to have some fun on the stage and with all the candy props. Judging from these pictures, you might think they might have eaten some of the candies!. But these pictures were not influenced by any sugar at all! All natural high and lot of fun and silliness from the goofy boys!
